Marc Cucurella is a target for City this summer

Manchester City have moved swiftly and decisively to secure their top targets this summer, but will still feel they have work to do.

After landing arguably the biggest signing in European football in Erling Haaland, City will already feel they have improved this summer, regardless of what other business they do.

City also did well to bring in Julian Alvarez as they have now sold Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling. And with Kalvin Phillips coming in from Leeds United, they have found a direct replacement for Fernandinho.

But there is another big move that looks likely as they chase Brighton's Marco Cucurella while Oleksandr Zinchenko continues to be linked with Arsenal. Will it happen this week? Will City make any more surprise moves? We could find out.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko is reportedly on the verge of a move to Arsenal, but until that happens he is still a big part of the City squad and a popular member of the dressing room.

He played netball with Riyad Mahrez before the main part started and was later seen laughing and joking. It's clear that it will take a lot more than rumors and reports about the player's future to create cracks in City's tight-knit squad.
