After a successful game against Club America today, City boss Pep Guardiola spotted some potential in the young Argentine forward, who completed his move to Manchester City this summer and made his debut this morning.
The tactician opened him up and said: “Unbelievable, defensively he's quite similar to Gabriel [Jesus]. Gabriel is probably the best, but he is close to him in terms of aggression and how intuitive he is, how he runs and with the ball, he is absolutely brilliant…”
“He can keep the ball and you can connect with him without any problems. We feel we have signed a top young player for years to come and we are delighted. The work done by Mareclo Gallardo at River Plate, we have an advantage…” He added.
